Sills

Is it me or are the sills, and buy that I mean the jacking points are not designed for lifting a Clio rear end + 3.0 v6. Dont seem strong enough. I have had to cut wooden supports for mine when jacking it up.

Anyone else think this?

They're rubbish on a 172 and any other wee Clio too. I used a trolley jack with a rubber pad.

Yes, they are shite! If you are jacking the rear end, I use two trolley jacks simultaneously on the rear subframe corners (aft end corners) - with rubber pads. These are good strong locations, and it does not risk bending the subframe like if you were to jack in the centre of the rear beam.
