Should I remap my Megane 225?

Hi , I have just purchased a stunning Megane 225 3Dr 2006 . The car drives superb , I have fitted a new exhaust from Ktec racing . My question is should I remap the car ? I was advised not to my the Renault specialist who looks after my car , he says they never run as sweet after a remap ? Any advise would be great

Your specialist is mad.
I would be incredibly careful who you chose to map , but my RSTuning mapped R26 ran beautifully in the various guises that I had it in.

I live in Dublin . So I was going to get the Suoerchip remap from a reputable place in Dublin . Any opinion on using a suoerchip remap ?

Thanks but really that is no help to someone from Dublin . I am not travelling to Leeds to get a remap , surely there must be others .

people do travel from all over the continent for both of their services, no help to you but testament to the standard of the work. Efi is in Runcorn so a little closer.

Rs Tuning do a remote mapping service if you dont want to travel.

Avoid any of the superchips or generic flash map shite.

My R26 was remapped when I got it, took it to RS Tuning and the car runs so much sweeter now and gives better mpg too! RS Tuning or don’t bother..

I'll echo the above. Avoid generic chips, its worth the effort to go to RST or EFI Parts.
