Should I change insurance provider now or wait?

Looking to move house in a few months. Will definately have a garage for the Vee! 8)

Also looking to add some mods to the policy.

Should I renew with the current provider for the few months, then change when my quotes should be better, or change now and ask for a rebate in a few months?

Thing is the price should drop for a better postcode and garage but in my experience once they have you signed up, they never give much of a discount. Why would they, as they have no incentive? Surely i'd get a better deal on a NEW policy using the garage and postcode for a better quote.

Cheers

Probably better off to update your details with your current insurer. Then, when it runs out, gets loads of new quotes - getting a rebate off an insurance company will never be easy!

Thats what I thought!

Thing is my current policy is up for renewal now. So I will have to renew now, and change policies in a few months to gain the discount. Hassle. And they will charge me a fee to cancel I bet! :(
