I shall be doing exactly the same, come the end of May. :)

My MOT has run out and it's SORN'd and not insured so I'm gonna be trailering it to Scotts at some point for some bits and bobs. Guess I'll have to ask the man himself as to how he usually get's vees to his MOT place because mine won't be able to be driven, well not legally anyway :s

Anyone had their vee trailered before? Any recommendations?

If you car is booked in for an MOT and you have the paperwork to prove it, your legally allowed to drive the car to its destination.

Your legally allowed to drive the car on the road without an MOT if your driving to the MOT centre and you have booked an appointment.

Im sure you can drive it for a booked MOT without tax, but you have got to go get the tax after the mot, before you drive it on the road , you will deffo need to be insured though ! :)

Indeed, he's coming to get my Vee from Southend this week.

Now that's service! Good old Scott :approve:

Good service scores points with me. Phil spent an hour loading my Vee up taking absolute care of it.

Well I asked Mark Fish for a quote for a cambelt change with instruction that he could book it in at the same time. I also offered to take the LEDA suspension off his hands and within the last 3 weeks, I have just had a text asking for my reg number. Possible £2.5k sale for him.

Think I'll be ringing SMG too!
