SG Motorsport

Dropped mine off at Scott's for its winter bits & bobs. Worth the long journey to be greeted with a nice cuppa. Some fun chat with a few new faces to forum names. I counted 11 Vees there in for various things. :approve:

I will stick my neck out and say whiskeybob's Ph 1 is quite possibly the nicest example I've seen in 10 years.

Mine is in for:
Service
MOT
Cambelt
Clutch
Waterpump
New tappets
New OEM exhaust system (my nice bespoke system is not for sale)
Aircon pipes protection cover (new development)
Plenum chamber polishing. (mine looks really shit)

My vee is booked in for the 8th of December for cambelt, clutch and full service :) looking forward too meeting Scott and hopefully while the engine is out I can give the engine bay a propper clean as I'm abit OCD :)

That's high praise indeed, I'm humbled! I couldn't have pulled that off without Scott :salut:

I drove away from SG on Saturday in a car that looked forecourt fresh and handled like no other V6 I've driven (I've only driven a prototype in and the one I've owned for 10.5 years). Earlier in the week Scott emailed me and said "hopefully you will see how a vee really handles", he wasn't wrong!

I can't recommend SG highly enough, many thanks to Scott for taking care of my V6 and for his abundant passion for the V6 in general.

James, it was great to see you and everyone else on Saturday, it was a superb morning out. I promise to attend a meet :)

Does anyone know the address for SG Motorsport? PM to me or something? There's no info on his website and can't find it anywhere!

I'm in Chippenham tomorrow morning and would like to meet him to book mine for a service and replace rear brake discs. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Simon, I managed to find the place in the end!

There were 2 blue ph2 and a lovely yellow, was that yours Simon? Also a couple of silver ph1 and a covered R5, never seen so many V6s together!

Scott seems like a honest guy and very friendly, it was nice meeting him, he also knows the history of my car much better than me! I've booked mine for service in three weeks time as he's busy at the moment... [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Just a vote of thanks to SGM's talisman Mark - who collected the AY today. He's just raised his game by acquiring a low-loading covered trailer. Really keeps the Vees cosseted.

That one looks even better than Scott's clamshell type covered trailer (below). :approve:
