5 GT Turbo Servo and master cylinder upgrade

I went up to 330mm discs and 4-pots and found I didnt need to upgrade on the 21. I believe @la21t went to Monster 6-pots and thats OK too.

Try it out before you blow cash on new cylinders. Yes pedal travel increased a tiny bit but nothing that caused concern.

Are the 21 servo/MC bigger than the 5 gt ones?

Master cylinder will need an upgrade or the pedal travel will be shocking iirc i think a golf master cylinder fits. Might be worth looking at the clio 172 non abs servo and master cylinder see if it goes on

I read somewhere that the 172 Cup fits but two of the ports are M10x1.0, the other two are M12x1.0.

I read that Dave, one guy made some m12 to m10 adaptors. Also read the g60 ones fit but they are a fortune.

Use a banjo with an accommodating fitting on the other end?

As for the 21 master its a whacking great ABS block beast of a thing, no good for a 5 bud.

That's right I got clio 172 servo and master cylinder fitted to my 5 just use a male to female adaptor for m12 to m10 and one other issue the fitment to brake pedal is different on the rod on the servo I cut off the 172 rod end and welded on a Gtt end other that the servo fits

I'm not on Monster 6, I opted for Race 6 which being very slim has nigh on the same fluid capacity as an OE caliper.

I'm pretty sure you can pick up the Golf 21mm MC and the 172 23mm MC from GSF for reasonable money?
