Service intervals

what is the service interval on a mk1?

i.e. how often is an oil service due? is it measured in miles/years. major/minor services?
what about cam/aux belts?
and the water pump?

12K miles or 2 years

See supplementary lists page 8 and 10 for various things like filters, plugs, timing belts etc.

Water pump change is not mentioned, but most people change this while the timing belt is being changed 72K miles or 5 years whichever is soonest.
