Service History search

Hello, I'm new here after just buying a phase 1 V6 Clio.

I bought it on impulse on an online auction and am really pleased with it so far.
My issue is the service history did not come with the car but I believe it once had a bumper file of it.
The last but one owner said he sold it with the box file but between the last owner and auction it has gone missing so I was wondering if anyone knew the car/ previous owners etc. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
The car is silver with the number plate DK53FSV.

Cheers Russ

You could possibly contact some of the previous owners and ask if they have anything. One entry says No History.

Click on it’s plaque number [v6plaque]352[/v6plaque]

As far as I knew it had no history, especially after being repossessed some yrs ago. It was with a trader only last year I'm sure, if you can find him maybe he will have some info?

Thanks for the info, I'm in Sussex near Gatwick airport.
I've looked through old posts and it looks like the Renault was owned by a member Glyn on here so I will try and contact him.
Also one of his post said after her bought it Scott went over the whole car with a fine toothbcomb.
Does anybody know who Scott might be?
I will be asking a few more questions as I have a few niggles with the car that I would like to sort
Thanks

What a great impulse buy lol, mine was too, literally it was less than 2 minutes between someone planting the seed and me agreeing the purchase!

Seller seems to have had 4 recent cars all with the same BIN price, all withdrawn......assume its a scam...if its yours, beware!
That buy it now is far too cheap! Got to be a scam! Look at the 400+ other items he has for sale, Walter Mitty?? All BINs are £5600 regardless!!

Definitely a scam!

Look at the seller's recent feedback (and 70% rating), and those who have been caught out have called him/her out as a 'Scammer'.....

Yeah that my clio!!!!! I was a bit shocked to see it for sale but reported it to Ebay and they pulled all the ads pretty quick. I still cannot work out the scam to be honest....is he after information of bidders??? I cannot see how the scam makes money. Surely nobody presses buy it now and pays blind over paypal???

someone must click....... its like the 'i have $400m to sneak out of XXXX (insert random country here), and of the 7bn people in the world, i picked you to help me.....'

someone must click........

maybe he has you service books for sale as well  he had a couple of hundred vehicles at £5600 BIN!!
The scam works by you hitting BIN then he asks for a few hundred deposit on PayPal to secure it until you go and collect, by which time he has disappeared :(

Yes it's a mass scam ! i reported the scammer to Ebay 3 times around 6 months ago when they were trying it hardest and when the listings got taken down they just created a new profile & started again. I was given the story that it was a lady selling the car for her deceased brother. They were asking £4,500 so Just to try and smoke them out i offered them £8K for the car (still still stupid cheap), they kept asking for days & days when i could transfer the funds LOL. When i asked for details to view the car they just said they live out of the country so need the amount transfered to them first to some odd foreign payment site & then the car would be delivered to me.

[v6plaque]352[/v6plaque] (DK53FSV) seems to have been targeted again: LINK

Now supposed to be located in Germany, and the seller is supposed to be away until the end of August, with just over 2 days to go before the auction ends!
