[v6plaque]164[/v6plaque] let me down earlier today. 1st time I'd had it out this year and was taking it to Haynes Motorola Museum for a fresh valuation. I got halfway there and it got stuck in 3rd gear. Managed get it off the road and started to consider my options. So I gave Scott at SG Motorsport a bell to see if he had come across the problem and if there's anything I can do before I go and phone for recovery. He told me to look under the engine covers at the gear linkage cable ends to see if they have hopped off. He was spot on and I reattached the offending cable, never even got my hands dirty. Managed to complete my journey without notice more problems. Can't thank him enough.

Will have to check through my paperwork when it's up for belts because I know where I'm going to be taking it :approve:
