I've just looked on Saga and to get the figure down similar to yours it means using the max voluntary excess. Total excess £995.
I wouldn't be prepared to cover a that amount in event of a claim.
I still find Elephant offer me the best deal.
I'm 54 and probably quicker in my vee than most of the youngsters but I guess thats another topic !
