Picked my car up this morning after having a service,camshaft phasers, and trophy coils fitted, great work by Scott who was really helpful and kept me informed all week.

Can't recommend him enough, car is running better than ever now !

I guess yours was the silver mk2 with black wheels that was there yesturday? looked good.

my friends said silver was a best colour for a mk2, but i think he must be colour blind!!!

did you see my mk2 illaid blue there? its having a service and all fluids and oil changes and A/c service.

Def not a belt off job...i saw my old ones....maybe item 13, but i'm not sure if the phase 2 ones are the same ?

No get to them from top of engine,They are at the belt end sitting between the cam covers on each head I post a pic later if I get the vee out.

I did :bow: I was dropping our C5 off to have its belts done!

PS, What are Dephasers?

That would be very handy. Thank you. I am quite mechanically minded and do most jobs on the Vee so it would be good to tackle this as well :)
