Megane Ricardo's Arctic White Megane 4RS

Another weekend a few more photos, 2 weeks now until Spa so I'm ordering upgraded front pads. It's booked in with Chris King to have them fitted and Castrol SRF fluid bled through, so hopefully that should cope with what Spa can throw up.

I'm usually allergic to new shiny cars.......................but I think these are the perfect car for me, I was always put off the previous Meg RS because I wanted either a saloon or at least a 5 door hatch, but these really do tick all the boxes...........

Well apart from the ' spares or repairs ' price tag box and the ability to buy NOS wheel bearings for a fiver box......

Love it, great car, you're a lucky fella.

i thought you were getting some secret squirrel stuff done or have I confused that with the last car?

Waiting on the official Javelin photos..... But..... Wow.... Everything people say about Spa is true. Epic, truly epic..... Eau Rouge, when you build in confidence, flat in 4th heading towards it having to go into 5th just before as you're maxing 4th out! 120+mph..... Wow!

You have to be up to speed quickly, the machinery around you are on another level but everyone drove respectably. I can now say I've done it, a massive life box ticked. A big shout out to Mart, Arthur and his partner Muriël. Mart and I stayed in an awesome modern 2 bed apartment in Malmedy and met up with the others for drinks and a meal Sunday afternoon and evening, then did the trackday on a Monday.

The PFC Z rated pads were awesome, braking from 130+mph in one particular corner with no problems. The Megane didn't miss a beat for the sessions I did, a big thanks to Mr Murray from Leeds.

FAO for any petrolhead, even if you do it once, do it.

I want to go.

right now.

:)
You do. You just don't "get" Eau Rouge/Radillon until you drive it, it's properly arse-twitching. The elevation alone is spectacular let alone the grip you get from the compression as you run up the hill. My third run through it, it rained and I had a bit of a wiggle over the top, a little bit of poo nearly came out!
