Megane Ricardo's Arctic White Megane 4RS

Some decent metal at that meet mate!

Still enjoying the car?
Indeed! It always attracts quite the variety of high end, extreme, random, unique, funky cars.

Love it! Genuinely can't think of anything I'd change to (ok just one).... As always it'll only be down to circumstances I'd have to chop it back in..... So far Covid hasn't had a big impact (touch wood) but in the grand scheme of things I think we're a long, long way off seeing any kind of normality. So far I still have a job and can meet the payments 😊

@Ricardo are you happy with the Arctic White?? Can you see much of the pearls??

Keep hanging my nose over a new one, but breaks my heart that they don't do it in Blue :(

Split between the Arctic White & Titanium Grey at the moment... Would love the LY, but the petticoat government won't approve that...

Like all Renault pearlescent colours they truly come into their own in the sunshine, it's flecks really well. I've been told they use the same pearl as the LY, definitely better than the base Glacier without a doubt. I like the grey as well, the same, it can change to a dark nautical blue depending on how the light hits the panels but for me I'd prefer Arctic as it shows off the muscular lines of the car and the black accents like in the wings.

Thanks for the feedback matey 👍👍

Thought I'd round this thread off by saying the Mégane is now gone, finance cleared and back to square one. Absolutely devastated on one hand, absolutely...... But with these uncertain times among us.... I can't really bring myself to talk about it but it's done.

What I will say is, is that it was absolute joy to be a part of something new back in 2018. I'd say there were only 10 in the UK when I picked mine up so it felt really special to experience what effectively was the top of the Renaultsport tree before the Trophy came out.

If any of you have the chance to get into one, do it, you will not be disappointed.

Have all the juicy bits gone off it?

Damn that car was fine.

Sorry to hear it’s gone Ricky, but I think a part of you is pleased to be back in a smaller/low cost Renault that you can tinker with and truly make your own. Your Twiglet 133 sure is coming on.. 👍

I’ve taken your advice quite literally and recently ordered a new MY2021 Megane Trophy to be delivered in March 💛🤫 Of course when there’s more information to share, I’ll create a thread on TR..

That's amazing news! You won't be disappointed that's for sure! It's funny, I've had a couple of people message me over the last couple of months say that based on the photos I've been posting throughout my time it tipped them into making a purchase on one. Renaultsport really hit the nail rightly on the head with this and truly believe it'll be the last 100% combustible engine they'll do.

The Twingo was never going to be the replacement for the Meg, it was an impulse buy as it came up at a decent price. For now I'll sit back and weigh up my options.... I do know one thing, I need to be back into something a bit fruity.....
