Megane Ricardo's Arctic White Megane 4RS

Megane was called in for a recall so I had it booked in on a weekday as there weren't any Saturdays free for weeks.

Courtesy car, loved the flames on social media for it but I actually thought it was quite cool

At the recall the technician while giving it a health check pointed out the low tyre wear so now was the time to swap out the Bridgestone S001 Potenza for the PMT part worn Michelin PSS tyres. Even after driving round the block from the tyre shop and filling up with V on the way home I noticed a big difference in feel and less road noise. So fingers crossed when pushing on they'll come into their own.

Did not know about the recall. Result that they identified it and fixed.

Same on the 300?
I only found out on a FB group so I popped in to my local dealer to which they confirmed and booked it in. It was that far in advance I received the official recall letter from Renault a week after I had it done.

Worth knowing. I have just facebooked your post to a few groups for information. Thanks! :)

Renault day at Caffeine and Machine, I suppose I'd better get both buckets out and give it a clean. Overcast day doesn't make for great photos.

300 mile round trip needs a tank full of V Power. Early start for a Sunday but wow well worth the drive to see the Trophy R up close!

As always it was great catching up with long term friends. On the way home the ol girl turned the 10k milestone on the clocks.

Bloody November last update!
Finally gave it a decent 2 bucket wash a few weeks ago. A few of if did a dawn raid on the country roads of Suffolk into Norfolk and ended up at Hunstanton beach.

Easing of restrictions meant car n coffee meets were back on for a local pub chain local to a few friends so I booked us a table for breakfast. As always a decent turnout of cars.

And just random shots of the Mégane while I've been out. Also over the last couple of months the seat frame had started creaking when cornering so I paid a visit to Renault. Booked in, seat out, re greased the runners and all good, all under warranty.

Obligatory V Power shots 😁

Clocked around 14k so far, next month (September) will be my 2nd year of ownership, which means annual service time. It'll be booked in at Motorvogue Bedford where I bought it and had it serviced last year. I'm still in touch with the saleswoman that sold me the car and since then she's always given me decent prices for the service.
