Wow, that year went fast!No, one piece, 2 materials
Now it's lowered the wheels seem to tuck in the arches a bit much for my liking, at the Cliosport weekender K Tec Racing had their Trophy sitting on 20mm bolt to hub spacers all round. I found a second hand set off an FB group, tried them on, and the wheels sat past the arches too much! The rear was worse, the front just needed nipping back in. Luckily a friend was selling a set of spacers from his Mk4 Clio 220 so the 20mm spacers were sold and these were purchased.
16mm front, 5mm rear. Same PCD and centrebore as the Meg 250 and Mk4 RS
16mm the minimum requirement to clear the hub lip and 5mm on the rear leaving enough for the wheel to sit on and still use OE bolts. I bought 10 longer wheel bolts for the front.

Blast out to the pub in the countryside! This one is a venue for the Coffee n Cars meets

Looks very good Ric, when I compared the height difference with the orange megane at the meet in Sevenoaks, yours look so much better
Thank you, looks more poised and aggressive in a nice way. There's 45mm arch gap on mine before fitting the springs, I couldn't go back!
Amazing the difference a set of wheel spacers make to the look of the car... Looks superb!

No? I liked it, because the blade isn't red... I'm not really a massive Red fan..
Service done, health check advised 2 new tyres soon as they're down to 3mm with the rears on 5mm. I have a set of Michelin PSS in the man shed but they're being saved for a second set of wheels.... If I find a set.
While I was waiting for the service, the saleswoman who sold me the Arctic White let me take out this gorgeous Volcanic Orange 300 Trophy. Nicely specced with a pan roof, Recaros, alancantara steering wheel. The exhaust was the big difference between this and mine, sounds so much better from idle, driving at 30mph and much more pronounced pops and crackles on overrun.... I want!

stayed off the motorways heading south to the A414 to Harlow, near Chelmsford, Hanningfield and Southend.
