Reverse light / Rear water leak

Hi, Fairly new to V6 ownership & just getting to grips with the car. I've noticed my reverse light isnt working. Removed the rear lights as per the owners manual, and notice their is a bulb on each side where the reverse bulb sits. First of all can somebody tell me which side the reverse light is supposed to work? As usually its only one side om most cars. Also could it be another issue if its not the bulbs?

Finally & worringly I've noticed a water leak which is at the drivers side rear end behind the rear tyre. Having looked under the car it seems to be a single continuous drip coming from the exhaust section and nowhere else. Unsure how you upload pictures on here, any feedback would be much appreciated?

You can also search for posts which say Reverse light switch. You should find quite a few topics on it and how to change it, if that is the problem.

Hi John,

Wonder if your water leak might be the water pump. It's hidden up on the off-side of the engine and failure might manifest itself as a constant drip that is running down off other components.
That was certainly how mine went a few years back.

Yes I was thinking the same. Albeit I spoke to Scott today at SG & he seems to think its a common occurence in that its condensation from the engine.
