Renault Race Day at Donnington

Hi all,

Is anyone going to the Renault Series race days at Castle Donnington on the 8th and 9th of Sep?

Just wondering, I am, would be cool to see some 19's there.

yep, a few of us are going and there should be at least 3 renault 19s on display, Neal's ph1 16v hatch which has undergone a 2 year rebuild and is looking fantastic, TIB's ph2 16v hatch and my ph2 16v hatch, i think that peters ph1 16v cabriolet will be there too but not 100% on that

There **MIGHT** be a Tungy Ph1 16v Chammy as well if it lands in time

i am probably going funds might be tight but will try my best. think i might have a few spare tickets but will see. i want to get to the infeild area but dont think thats going to happen

you got 5 days Barry to get your car registered, otherwise it won't be there, if you have not posted it off, i'd suggest you do it tomorrow, dont forgot some parts of the country are being affected by the post strike too.

looking through the master list for cars at WSR 2007, i see another 19 cabby (not peters)

JOLLEY Michelle R19 Cab

Neals, Barrys, Toms and mine are also on the list

So thats 5 confirmed R19s there, 3 x ph1, 1 x ph2 and a 19 cabby (Phase unknown)

i also see a Laguna Touring car on the list

Don't be so sure about that

Basicly we are attending a show organised by Renault H&C and the Renault Alpine Owners Club as their guests, we get put where they want to put us and do as they tell us heh.

ppl like Peter and Chunk, Mick and various others from the likes of RSC will organise their own pre show meetups and convoy in, once you get to the show area then H&C take over and show you where we are parking up etc, which as we all got 19s will be together lol

However, i am sure Baz and Tom can meet up on their way up and meet Neal and me on the M1 perhaps and then the 4 of us head the rest of the way together and go into Donnington.
