Few pics of the RAOC test day at Brunty today , modified GTA Turbos were flying, 3.0 twin turbo of Dave Miles posted 4.5 sec 0-60, 10.4 to 100 and 13.0 sec at 112 mph 1/4 mile and Bruntingthorpe is uphill standard cars usually run 0.5 slower than factory 0-60s and near - on a second slower 1/4 miles that is quick in anyones book. Lee Crowston wasn't far behind with a 4.6 and other cars posted 4.8 and 5.0 sec dead. All would be comfortably in the 12s at the pod.

Lots of pics, not sure anybody took video. Dave there are 2 ways of launching them, some judicious clutch slip to keep them on boost just to get them rolling or being really brutal and just dumping the clutch with a lot of revs. 2nd way a little quicker but very hard on the car. They have a lot of traction, car that ran 4.5 sec is about 310 bhp 310 ft/lbs at just 0.9 bar of boost and weighs about 1250 kg in full road trim it is 3.0 litre though not 2.5. The 2.5s run lots more boost and aren't as tractable.
