5 GT Turbo Renault 5 gt turbo not starting fuel issue?

So I recently brought a Renault 5 gt turbo that had been sat for 6 years I have replaced spark plugs, leads, distributor full service oil change etc, all the cooling system, rad, hoses, water pump new coolant etc, new battery and alternator replaced fuel pump fuel filter fuel pump relay and it won’t start it goes to turn over but isn’t getting any fuel and I can’t hear the fuel pump any ideas?

Do you have spark ? If the rev counter is moving when cranking, the tdc sensor is working, so the pump should trigger, as its triggered from the flywheel turning.

If that is ok, its wiring or relay fault. Take the fuel pump relay out, and bridge the wires to fire it up, that will rule out most of the wiring.

Yes it has spark I haven’t taken much much notice of the Rev counter whilst turning it over I will do next time I try I’ve put a brand new relay on so it shouldn’t be that as far as wiring goes it’s abit beyond my expertises

Fuel pump only works when cranking. Test the pump to see if it will work with 12v.
What way does the system work does the pump supply the carb or does the fuel tank sender unit supply it, my pump works out of the car and relay clicks when ignition is on but when I bridge the wires with all in the car I get nothing, cheers

Only external fuel pump on gtt, no in tank pump. Rising rate fuel pressure reg up front to bring pressure down for the carb.

Sounds like you need to trace some wiring.
