Retro-Renault used to make these tags 🏷 who makes them now?

No one. I had one made recently, it doesn't have the diamonds on as they couldn't replicate it. So I'm waiting till I find someone else who can

As with everything like this, it can be replicated but the usual issue is cost and volume. Most people wont pay the money which means low volume, which means expensive.

Can you not still get them from Renault? I’d looked into it previously.

You get a form from parts desk, basic stuff, owners details, car details and reason for new tag. They look at the car to make sure it’s the car the tag belongs to and place an order.

I never actually got one in the end because the car had no front end at the time, I wanted the new one for when the bay was resprayed and knew there would be a wait for it.
The car was too far gone in the end so I never went through with it.

There are companies out there who will make them but obviously they don’t look like the original and you have to keep a detailed record with evidence of why it’s been changed.

AFAIK if you ask Renault now, they will send you a sticker, like in the new cars..

In the bigger picture of a full resto, thats not a lot really. I've spent more than that in welding wire and gas! It's barely more than a decent set of brake pads.
