Wanted one for years Learnt to drive in one , works van when I was 15 , paid over the odds for it but genuine old bus needs a bit of welding as you would expect . RHD as well

I was going to go up not down, M+S tyres. T S lump 5 speed box kept the stuff for 20 years + for this project , a cross flow head just checked out to be ok as well

lt runs . came to me With the starter missing unbolted one off a gordini block that had been stood 30 years , tested it Worked a treat, put it on and it sparked into life ,
happy days cold weather making my phone as flat as witches tits in a matter of seconds so no pics or vids sorry

Spark at the right time and fuel what more do you need , the modern stuff is the same. Just more hoops to jump through first ,

Moved some. Stuff around at the weekend and had to take a picture, little and large unfortunately now the little 4 has a name “Sid “

Just a break away from paper work wondering around with a tape in my pocket . The 3 cylinder TCE engine in the Clio would fit giving me room at the front for the pulleys and belts etc chip up to 120 bhp Just got to get it to bolt to 5 speed ts gear box .

after having a look at the earlier 4 cylinder TCE (quite light too) it would require a custom flywheel and adapter as a minimum. 5 speed bolts to an energy engine I think, and possibly the earlier 1.6 16v. A super modern engine swap would be epic though
