renault 19 16v, megane coupe 1.6 16v, 172 cup and 9 turbo

Hi, thought it was about time i joined as owning a couple of Renaults myself!! Never know when I might need some advice.
I'll start off with a couple, 1.6 8v megane gearbox will it fit a 19 16v?
Any1 got phase 2 9 rear light clusters and o/s electric mirror glass?
Did I read the trip comp on 19 16v can be changed from gallons to litres or was I up rather late and seeing things? Thanks Chris.

personally i wouldnt put a 1.6 8v gearbox in a 19 as you will just kill if it fits

supposedly the trip computer can be adjusted with the buttons on the stalk and the dash, but i've never seen proof!

Hi, thanks for advice and the welcomes!!! Haven't got pics of 9 as were stored on different computer and don't know if still on it. Will do a couple soon when I remember to bring camera to where it is, but got other car stuff on go as below (Not in priority order)
19 16v just fitted new matrix and trip computer, needs ft wheel bearing
zx citroen td heater matrix, discs/pads (front)
saxo vtr cambelt and new bonnet+painting
105bhp dci 2002 megane needs new engine (cam unseized after having oil put in but rattles) Anyone help?
9 TURBO last spring mot'ed, running then left a week or so. Turns over/sparks/fuel there but wouldn't start so got left under sheet and forgotten about!!!
309 gti with 2.0 16v conversion started 3 yrs ago, driveable from this WEEK, needs finishing, off road 8/9 yrs. No brake servo, engine fan not working, 1 coil pack now needs swopping, brake discs/pads and pipes want replacing!!

the 1.6 box will fit and it won't be any less reliable than the one in it. The box however will have the gap at the bottom as has been covered before. The electric sender pulls out and just put the mechanical speedo drive sleeve in.

I have 16V ph2 rear lamp clusters.

Pull the sump on the DCI and check the bearings good chance they'll be gubbed.

Blowtorch the plugs on the 9 and it'll probably go

thats how I done mine when I first got my car, now I haven't got a digital display in my convertible :cry:

Changed zx matrix, discs and pads. Fitted xantia matrix which is what engine came out of for zx year ago. Discs from 205 gti 1.9 and pads from P reg 1.6 8v megane coupe that I broke up. Works a treat and cost me NOTHING!!! Need to fit thermostate as engine temp seems too low. Other matrix was solid full of crap. Fans work on 309 and coil pack problem was clip missing off it so it had come off. Feels like I've done something useful today!!!
