Not a good idea doing brakes in a cramped garage with little light and eyesight not what it was and throwing it down outside and my glasses misting up.

I see you have the bottom part of the seat off, just out of interest, does it also have the glass fibre "buckets" and do they also break like they do here in SA?

No we've not got firbe glass seats in the renault 11 as far as I know.
