Is it possible to remove the back box with the bumper off on a jack? (not a ramp)

I want to refurb my back box and fit some new bushes but don't have access to a ramp, so could I get away with doing this the street?

People say you can fit the OMG without the back bumper being removed so I guess you must be able to remove the backbox without.

Having my car up on ramps on Saturday and having a look underneath I'd have to say it seems a nice simple job as well.

Good stuff, i'll have a go this weekend then, weather permitting.

I would take the bumper off its a good oppertunity to give it a good clean underneth. Use caution though leave the bolts at the top in until last and make sure you take all the other 6mm bolts out check the manuals to see where they all are. Also it means you can replace the crap mild steal with stainless but get some nylon washers when you bolt back on and do not I repeat do not over tighten them.

You could also replace the steal screws that hold the side pods with stainless ones if you havent already.

Going to have to stay with the mild steel for now, cash flow is low.

Count them up and PM me your address theres not many and I will bung some in the post to you there pennys only thing I dont have is nylon washers.

Although I might have will need to check.

Simon
