Refurb leather seats seen on wheeler dealers

Anyone see wheeler dealers the other day? Porsche Boxter episode. They got their leather seats refurbed by spraying what looked like paint onto the leather. Looked mint, and thought I could do that to the cabrio interior. Does anyone know what it is that's sprayed onto the seats? Or know of a company that's does this?

Didn't see it but it sounds interesting.

Can't imagine how it wouldn't look naff close up though.

It is fine to restore worn leather in this manor, there are a number of professional restorers that also do this, as long as there is no rips its a relatively easy and cheap to do way of restoring leather.

CAR S.O.S redid the entire interior in a P6 by sanding back the old leather redying it and sealing it

Yes theres a guy who we get up.from clacton to.do ours I was gobbsmacked at the result worth every penny, i.was amazed hes done quite a few seats for us sanded them.then.sprayed em!

To get a pro to do it, would be a few hundred quid, they would remove the seats from the car, sand back, redye, maybe apply two coats of dye then seal it, if its only one seat or minor repairs here and there wouldn't be too much cash but if its the whole interior on a 19 might be worth sourcing another set of seats
