Red Quadra

mr pat

Hi all, i brought this quadra in November, some of you may know the car from the forum

Really enjoyed owning the car but in true renault style it started to go wrong, clutch started to slip, headgasket leaking oil from rear of the head, and a manifold gasket blowing due to broken stud, and cambelt change was due, so i pulled the engine to sort out the problems

Took the head to the local head shop, stem seals, skim, clean up and valves cut in, plus the broken stud drilled out

Yep Goes well running 18psi now

Had a stainless system done in 2.5" with a single box, made a massive difference over the standard system,

Thats Bretts dads car which i was going to buy,
i have Bretts phase 1 car which is still looking good (i think anyway)

Glad to see it in good hands and being looked after,:cool::cool:

I like the "crackle" effect on the rocker cover.....:surprised:

I test drove this car before you bought it Mr Pat & i thought it was a tad "dull" to drive as it was standard - by adding a stainless system & winding the boost up i'm sure she feels more alive...!! As Dan mentioned though - watch the boost, i'd personally only run 17psi on a standard set-up......

Car's looking good though....!!!!!
