Recaro sport trendlines

Right people..this is a still a good few months away..as they still will not work out cheap..but i thought if i could get 5 or so people that were interested i could get on the blower and start haggling some deals..

the seats are the 182 trophy ones..perfect match for the door cards etc..and look amazing..

rrp is about £1355 with frames for a pair.. hope to knock a fair bit off that...

so...give me a rough idea of who would fancy these in their vee...

On something that expensive you should be looking for 30-40% discount. :twisted:

A couple of members wanted these in my "what next" thread also.

your local dealer will likely have a meggy R26 in the showroom?? same seats in that..

James...no..but they are approx 30mm lower than std 182/v6 seats

I take it they will come with the runners and correct mounts?

Also what happens with the airbags - do they need resistors fitted to keep the light off etc.? as I am thinking these seats dont have airbags.

Thanks for your email. I would be happy to help wit a group buy however the margins on the Recaro products may not be what you may expect. On a quantity less than 5 vehicle sets, I would only be able 20% discount. If you were able to achieve 5 vehicle sets, I would be prepared to extend the discount to 25%.

The current retail prices are as follows:

RECARO Sport Trendline with belt guides, black vinyl with dinamica centre fabric - £595
Fitting kit - £105
Universal resistor wire kit - £17

Delivery (UK mainland only and excluding premium delivery areas) £12 per seat (not applicable to discount)

I believe some vehicles may be fitted with side air bags therefore will require a universal resistor wire per seat for the installation. If the original seats have no side airbag, this item can be omitted from the prices.

In summary for an order less than 5 vehicle sets:
- vehicle with side air bags, £1171.20 (retail £145
- vehicle without side airbags, £1144.00 (retail £1424)

Order for 5 vehicle sets are more:
- vehicle with side air bags, £1099.50 (retail £145
- vehicle without side airbags, £1074.00 (retail £1424)

Still quite pricey tho.

I am dissapointed its not creeping under £1K.

Not sure I can justifiy the price...... :?

Could you fit just one for the driver? Would that look toilet?

Or would the standard seats have value to the lesser clio-owners. If so what could I hope to get for them?

Unfortunately I think 1k of my money is better spent at the moment - these seats are the boys though ...

Peter - I have seen other cars with a single Recaro in and it just doesn't look right IMHO.

Damn you! I'd always wanted Recaros in the Vee and just as I'm about to sell it you go and setup a group buy!

The Trendlines are nice, but the new Recaros in the 197 are, IMHO, nicer still. Much more expensive though...

Of all the people on here i know how hard it is to get numbers for these sorts of things. BUT I also know how you have to be honest and not let people down later on. Its just too much for me right now.
