Tim, I'll try and get some pics taken this wknd, but basically I'm pretty pissed off with the height of mine, and I'm still trying to find a solution.

I've seen a few posts on here about the height being too high but it's hard to visualise...

I've done some research on Cliosport and there is less of a mention of ride height issues but I think that's down to most of them using harnesses which negates the need for a Recaro subframe kit. Without a cage I don't think Harnesses would be viable.

Always possible to fabricate your own mounts as well remember. Not saying its easy but it would give you full control over height.

Ironically, my el cheapo Sparco seats are base mounted and drop the seat a good inch or so. Added to the fact they're not fixed back buckets i.e you sag into the seat base, and the overall impression given is your within the car rather than on the car!

Pole positions are still by far the nicest seat you can put in a vee IMO though!!

Yes I think if you don't go for fixed buckets it's less of an issue as there is no need for the side mounts. I'd definitely consider custom mounts but not really sure where I'd even begin getting something made up. :s

Need to get the seats first though and then maybe have a play around. Still a bit torn between these and Trendlines...

They do one for the Clio II (LINK) which I think would fit the V6 but I don't think you can mount the standard seatbelt plug to it so it's only any use if using harnesses - unless anyone knows a way round that...

yep, theres plenty of options if you are fixing the seat in position, but if you want to maintain a slider system, there are no options. I even spoke to Mark Fish the other day and he is looking into fabricating a set up, if he gets enough interest. only problem is it wont be cheap, and will take time to develop
