I got a renault megane today. couple problems. one is the rear windscreen wiper is not working. the garage guy said the motor is gone in it :?: and he has to order in one and there difficult to get? any one had this problem before?

make sure he doesnt charge you a penny, thats the benefits in buying from a garage, not a hard part to come by at all but it shouldnt be your problem, chance that it could be a simple thing like a fuse or a relay but dont hand any money over, shouldve been fixed before you bought it really

This garage is not a big one. Its kinda small operation. What if he says "sorry love its your car now"

By the way thanks for all your advice on my other problem too.. Im going back on Monday just a bit worried that now the moneys handed over to him that he'l be a bit of a :wanker:

the megane wiper whether its a hatch, coupe or even saloon is not hard to come by.

what type of megane is it? different ones have different issues

If it's sold as seen with no warranty, then he can say that TBH. If it end's up like that. then at the worst you have to fix it yourself. on the cheap, doing the work yourself, or find a friend, that can help.

Hi guys yes its a 2000 Renault megane coupe and its my first real car i've bought. my other was a little banger so this car i just want it to be perfect and safe.

a problem on the coupe is the spindle seizes, this then can burn out the motor or normally just cause the fuse to pop. You need to free off the spindle though and then the motor normally works fine as well.

You best learn some stuff about cars so you don't get ripped off

your right guess. i'll have to start learning quick. he did say the motor was gone so it must have been burned out. this forum is great. thanks for the advice:p

ask to see the old motor if someone else replaces it.

As for the pic, well what can I say? The lovely fleshy orbs of females are my main weakness
