Rear bumpers?

Is there any difference between the Ph1 & Ph2 rear bumpers?
I didn't think there was but looking at the prices and part numbers seems there may be!!!!!! £500 difference LOL

As far as I know, they both are interchangable, how ever they do have different rear grilles. Doesn't explain £500 though!

I notice now that even the rear arch guards which fit in the rear bumper, are now the MK 2 part numbers. Can't think of any other major difference.

Here's a big if....
Demand plays a roll in parts prices. As there have been many more written off MK 2s perhaps there have also been many more lesser accidents hence more demand for a replacement bumper?

You any plans Phil ? Following stevo and mossys cars at length, I can say I am a big fan of cut-out rear bumpers and ones with no grills in ...

A up Phil, yes there is a difference between the 2.

The phase 2 are slightly different due to grill fitment - they have 4 extra small section's with holes in along the bottom where the grill base noggings slot in.

Got hold of a Ph1 rear bumper ( some slight damage but in one piece )
Not going full on cut-out something a little different ( if all goes to plan ) :approve:
