19 Rear brake discs

Hi,

Need to replace the rear discs on my phase 2 19 16v fitted with bosch ABS. I have a question regarding the ABS ring- I cant find any discs with the ABS ring included but I can find the rings for sale individually. Couple of questions- firstly, how do the ABS rings attach to the disc? Secondly, are the front rings the same as the rear?

The rings will be press fit.

Whats your number plate? Are you sure the discs come with the bearing? As the rings are attached to the bearing, not the disc. Cliosport discs come with bearings and ABS targets but earlier stuff like the 19 and 21 I remember being separate entities and you swap out the disc leaving the bearing alone (with the ABS ring on it)

The early 19s had a Bendix ABS system (44 teeth), the later models like mine have a Bosch system (26 teeth). When looking for discs you can either buy just the disc, disc and pressed bearing and I think it is possible to buy them with bearings, disc and abs ring but I can't seem to find any suitable for the Bosch system.

I have found a pair of Brembos with pressed bearings which look good but no ABS ring. The same shop sells the ABS ring separately but lists it as being only suitable for the front wheels but it would seem weird to me if the front rings were different to the rears.

I had a very brief look at the current discs and can't tell if the rings that are currently on the car are built into the disc or separate. The discs are pretty rusty and for peace of mind I would prefer to change discs, ABS rings and bearings at the same time.

Somehow I managed to miss your post. Just ordered a pair of brembos with built in wheel bearings. Bought the ABS rings separately.
