Real world experience needed : Ever driven a sequential on the road?

Best on the road would be the semi sequential rs3 DSG dq500 box followed by skylines one. Not driven anything more focused on the road or all options mind

Radical seq box on a track very focused and would be interesting to try on the road

Dq500 lets you drop down to very high revs unlike earlier and lesser DSG's making it feel more full seq. Still love a decent manual but no getting away from the performance of semi / full seq box

Manual stick , not a flappy paddle
I've had two mates with stick sequential Caterfields and both sold them, the seq box was part of the reason. Great at full bore, not great when you're bimbling about. Also need regular rebuilds...every 8-10,000 or so.

Interesting.
Why not so great when bimbling about?
