Radio code problem

Hi everybody

I m not able to insert the radio code: as long as i turn on the radio, word “CODE” appears on the screen, but every button i push both on radio head unit and steering wheel satellite only gives me back a “beep” but no numbers or any other will appear on the screen. Always CODE word fixed.
Already tried to disconnect battery (i have batteryswitch ) but nothing changes.
Someone can help me?

After CODE the display should switch to 4 zero's 0000. If you've tried to enter the code incorrectly the time between allowing you to try again is increased. You may have to leave the unit switched on for some time when it's saying CODE and wait for the four zero's to appear. I think ?

As the car was at the service center and there maybe they did something wrong in the code and now time to wait is very long..

Yeah if 'CODE' appears for a prolongued period of time you just have to leave it for a while, make a cup of tea, and another, then eventually it'll reset to '0000'.

It's a failsafe for when the code has been entered incorrectly 3 times and the only way to reset it is doing the above
