r19 1.816v abs light on

hi,

i have a renault 19 18.16v an it will soon be due its mot.
the last few days the ABS light has been staying on. before i thought it might just be a bad connection of something as it used to go out for a few days then come on again. but now it dosnt go out at all.
i was driving down the m20 when the rear brakes fell apart (badley fitted by previous owner) i got home an the pads had gone on the o/s.
would this have anything to do with the sensor it looked okay when i changed the hub gave it a good clean up but the light is still on.
so now rebuilt an the light is still on
can anyone help me???

did you fit another disc to it then? Did it have the reluctor ring on it? Was it the right one? theres 2 types of ring.

i fitted a new hub/disc as its all one bit swaped the abs ring over all looked ok the teeth were in good condition an the sensor looked ok just cleaned it a little with some brake cleaner.

whats the resistance of the sensor? The plugs are on the pasenger side ahead of the axle.
