Quadra zorsts.

D

devonquadra

Just out of interest. what exhausts are being run on the other quadras out there??

Got a straight through stainless exhaust on mine with just one box on the back which is a Scorpion with a 4 inch bore, no need for the cat so took it off. Sounds much better and a few more bhp............

I my first quadra I had a custom powerflow:icon_sad: 2 1/4" single box it sounded good and helped breath a bit.

On the current one I had a scorpion exhaust which is from the down pipe back and 2 1/2" with two boxs.

Its now getting a full 3" system from the turbo all the way through going under the diff as its the only way to fit it, with possibly one box. This one is being built by Lee Allison.

If you want the scorpion exhaust it could be for sale for the right price. Or I can ask Lee and we can see if one could be made for you to your requirments.

Scottyboy: Are you sure the scorpion on your's has a 4 inch bore as they only ever made the 2 1/2" bore ones after that its custom made and 4" is very evpensive.

Well he has got proper ramps, he can weld and has all the stuff to do it. :icon_confused:Plus he's doing it cheeeeeeeep for me and everthing else thats happening to my car at the mo.:icon_biggrin:

Mine- 3" mandrel bent from turbo back, under diff with 1 straight through silencer and 4" rolled tail. Cossie housing with wastegate penny welded shut. 38mm External wastegate with independant 1" screamer pipe exiting under front o/s bumper in front of wheel.

Ooooooo it's loud, then the W/G opens and it screams like a beastie from the bowels of the devils playground :icon_biggrin:

lol dave, you make me laugh, it is a beeeeeeeeeeast though..when is it coming out to play?

Could do it in a couple of hours if he's got all the right bits in.

Without it rattling, through the loop in the floor before the bend past the diff in 3"?
:icon_lol:

He might be handy, but he ain't that handy lol

p.s....get it through that loop in the floor or it will hit everything on the road that sits about 4mm high, especially if the front is lowered. The back sits higher cos of the diff which is why under-axle is ok but the front can cause problems.

Dave, the one just after the center uj on the prop shaft? or are you trying to take it over the axle?

Good to know people have been building working "non rattling/knocking" systems cuz I'm gonna need one at some point.
Who's got Matty Cuningham's old blue flame pipe then? I borrowed that one from Mike Stevens a while back to try on mine for fit. That seems to be the one thats being cloned and the best system for a quadra.

You'd have to call Mark and ask mate, I did him some special offers including welding gear he was after :icon_wink:

Awesome exhausts though mate, he used to make the exhausts for an Alfa Romeo race series, GTV's I think so he's not bad at nailing these things together

fair enough, too far away for me to be honest..
was just after an average on what people pay for custom made exhausts etc
