Quadra propshaft centre bearing

Hello all iv just brought the p3 white quadra the main thing that needs sorting at the moment is the propshaft centre bearing. This might not be a big problem because a bearing place may be able to match it but does anybody have or no were to get one ive heard roumers of a mercedes bearing fitted, is this true? If so which model? Many thanks Luke

just take it to a place that does bearings and they will be able to match it up to something.. I think mine was a Merc bearing or some sort.. its slightly larger but was no worry as I just spaced it down a touch.

or you could go and buy from Renault but make sure you take a bucket load of KY with you....

Dave Mac in Coventry did one for me a while back, Mercedes bearing, fitted the brackets upside-down to make it easier.

Whats envolved in changing it, is it hydrolic pressed or does it just slot on the prop ?. Do you have any idea what model of mercedes the bairing is from?

No idea, but i'd guess at press fit.... and no idea on the model! Sorry.
