hi thanks for the link I think you are doing excellent
I am very happy to see the car safe and been restored
well done
you never know if you ever want to sell the car and I have the money
I may buy it back

best of luck

Or a getaway car!
Good work mate
Its worth the money! Id pay a lot of money
For a good fully restored 19

That's looking good. Did you just spray the cylinder head or get it dipped etc?

What paint did you use on the block?

Cheers matey. I did get the head dipped but wasn't happy with the result so sprayed it with engine enamel.
I painted the block with engine enamel also, I was gonna use hammerite but wasn't sure if it would cope with the temperatures

engines always go faster when painted nicely.

good job so far.

Although tbh since you had the sump off etc, I would have just done the shells whilst there.

im at the same cross roads at the mo chris, was thinking whether to change anything, you reckon rings at the same time ???

ideally yeah but then you are as well doing it right really.

At the very least pull a cap off and have a look.

Its amazing how bad seemingly good engines can actually be.

Since you say that, I probably will change the internals. Not a big job, and while its in bits I may aswell. If anything went pop I would be really pissed off with myself :)

car and engine is looking very nice
that engine is spot on and will be f9 on the track as its been round the nurburgring.
well done
