I have no idea what sorta price paint comes in at but was shocked when I was told the tungsten paint is 45 quid per half litre and 40 for a litre of lacquer.
Am i being scammed?

Yeah.....make sure you buy decent paint mate - you'll regret it if you dont! I bought lacquer & paint once when I had my first full respray on my 21t & paid ?13 per litre for both!! It turned out a disaster 1 year later!! Lacquer peeling off etc. Not good! :evil:
The next full respray I had done I got Dupont paint that should of been ?60 / litre!! 2 years on the paint still looks spot on.....more than what I can say for the lack of the engine!! LOL! :cry:

Just to second that definately worth paying for decent paint or it will fade, metallics generally cost more than flat colours as well.
Useless piece of info for you the bright orange paint on the dynorod vans is 120 quid a litre

Hey that was my plan until I went all Smurfy on its ass...........
Was gonna be bright orange with matt black bonnet........but I decided it'd look like an early 1970's Audi or worse a mk3 Cortina. All id need was the vinyl roof and louvred plastic rear window cover lmao
