yep i have a viper and k-tec...the noise is fantastic..especially with the passenger window down, it must be loud cause i booted it one day and people about 600yds away turned to look..
i know you have all talked about the subject before but there is sometnig that wasnt clear to me because there were some contradiction in it and it is .. when installing the BMC CDA will engine cover be installed back normally or will i be obliged to leave it open ???!?!?!
lol..i got the joke..i thought one day id remove the covers and go for a drive...TBH it sounded dreadful...just road noise and all the tappets etc more than the sweet engine noise i thought it would be..
i got 1.5 miles..turned round and put the cover on
Well I must of fitted it wrong. It came loose at the weekend at the engine side so I took the covers off again and tightened the clamps very tight, but I just checked now and it has come loose again.
If anyone can show a pic of how a BMC should look on a mk1 then please do.
Otherwise I'm puttting the old Renault kit back on later on tonight then selling my BMC.
Just had a new K&N Apollo CIS System installed. Its magic and because I drive on the left with the window down the rasp is fantastic! (Induction to engine always on left side vent only...)
Cool just fitted it again. Its much more secure now. I cut some of the tubing off as it was too long too (I had to bend it too much last time which I think caused most of the hassle). Just drove a hard 60 miles (Dundee - Edinburgh) and its held up fine.
Now just need a new exhaust now to compliment it...hmm.. orisboud
