I've had quite a lot of work done here now, Hyke has a fair bit of vee experience under his belt including numerous cambelts including mine, he also managed to fit my QS exhaust today which proved to be very tricky to align properly. Worth a look for local vee owners. :thumb

Just out of interest Roy how much was the cambelt change ? (as mine will need doing in the not too distant future, it's always handy to know what various Renault dealers are charging), and did it include the waterpump and auxiliary belt as well ?

Had mine in there too they do appear to have the most experience locally. Pitty the scraped Alex's bumper though. Cam belt not due for another 4 yrs though

Phil, last year I got it all done (waterpump, cam belt kit, aux belt kit) supplied and fitted including an oil change for 940 im sure. from a reno dealer. Might be a bit steep but that was major haggling and other dealers appeared to just add the job times together to get a price. Most I was told was 2k from Bearsden reno im sure.

Cambelt was £1001 for me, included everything you said Phill, not as competitive as down South but because I had it done here I keep getting further discounts without asking.

Just had 24k service done here, car is running sweet, cheers Hyke. :approve:

Oh by the way, check your reverse lights folks, mine were found to not work, god knows how long they've been like that, it turned out to be the switch on the gearbox.
