sorry i have no pics so will have to describe it.

Next to my carb on my gordini turbo, turbo side there is an upright connection ( much like the connections on to the carb) nothing is attached to it, however it seems to be sucking air and when i put my finger over it, it sorts out my erratic idling, just wondered where it was supposed to connect to as i cant work it out, first thought was wastegate, howerver it already has a pipe to that, any help will be appreciated. will try get a pic later

here is picture

to put you in perspective, left of picture is the rad, right is the engine block, above is carb, below is turbo;

i have notice that a pipe near it is blocked off with a screw :-/ should this pipe be going into the bit that hasnt got anything on?

the open bit does suck really hard - vacuumed. is it something to do with the turbo? if so what should it be attached to?

the pipe u have got blocked off, goes to the connection that currently has the pipe that you can see with the new jubilee clip on.
the pipe with with the jubilee clip on then goes to the connection that currently has nothing on. the other end of which should goto the wastegate port closest to the back of the car.

the waste gate port closest to the front of the car, should goto a T piece, that connects to the turbo compressor - funnily enough where the blocked off pipe you have is also connected to. :)

hi sparkie i get it all apart from the last bit about the t piece, where does the t piece go, is it near the turbo or the end or the pipe that is blocked off and would this be having affect on my turbo?

so to clarify, the shiny new jubilee clip pipe goes on to the open hole
the blocked off pipe goes into where the jubilee pipe was and then you say there was a 3 rd pipe? or just the one going to each one with a tpiece off it? thanks for any more help

the wastegate has 2 ports.... i was describing where they connect to.
the compressor of the turbo has a brass conector on it, that splits into two. thats what i called the T piece.

Sparkie remember that the Le car Turbo the hoses are connected slightly different fromt the Gordini Turbo. Check Haynes on the carb/turbo bit and then move to the supplement part at the back and you will see what I mean....
