Why cant I upload images to the forum? None are of particularly great quality. Just says they are too big. I only ever have it on here too.

Iv had it say that to me as well sometimes but it worked fine on my mobile a few minutes ago. Not helpful but at least it's not just you.

There is a size limit on the photos your uploading to the gallery of 2 mega bytes, and also max width and height of 2500 pixels.

I normally resize any that get rejected, or if I'm lazy just upload to flickr and link, but its miles better for historical purposes to up load to the gallery. So many old threads are full of red x's where files are no longer hosted online.

Are you on PC or Mac Brett?

On PC, I installed a little widget called Image Resizer LINK to free download which one installed you can right click on the picture (as shown in the link) click resize and then pic your new size. You can do multiple files at the same time. :approve:

I'm on either the iPad or iPhone mate.

Email then from the iPad to yourself. When you click send, it will ask what what size you want. Pick anything except original and they will be less than 2meg a picture. Then save them off the email and upload!

I use the this tool on my laptop: Microsoft Powertoys Image Resizer

Very easy, since you only need to right-click on the stored image file and then choose 'Resize Pictures' - it then saves the resized image in the same folder as the original.
