Clio Phase 1 Bits For Sale

ALL PARTS SOLD

As I’m selling the Phase 1 I thought I’d have a clear-out of some of the bits and pieces I’ve accumulated.

These are in pretty good original condition complete with runners and seat belt receivers.
There is a little colour rubbing on the bolsters where you would slide across to get in, but they look very respectable and have never been messed about with. There is a small amount of pick-up on the driver side Alcantara on the bit you sit on, but this isn’t very noticeable when in the car. A good leather man could get these seats looking like new with very little work.

These are getting hard to find now and a must-have if you don’t have the original seats in your Phase 1, or have a perfect set and want a pair to use!
£290 for the pair.

There are two of these and both have their instrument binnacle and air vents. They are both in very good condition.
£50 each

This looks to be in perfect condition.
£280

Door Cards
Good original condition, with some marks on the lower plastic bits where the door has been pushed open with a foot! They should clean up well.
£50 the pair

Door Card switch and handle Escutcheons
These are the bits that go sticky on the Vee. These are from a 172 and are the same shape, but just painted and not rubberised. They will need painting.
£35 pair

Steering Wheel
Just needs the leather cover on the rim replacing.
£50

Indicator and headlamp stalks
These look like new.
£60 the pair

Dashboard (Instruments)
Very good condition. From a 4 cylinder 172 so the tachometer innards will need changing.
£70

Display board
Very good condition
£40

Other trim bits
Steering columns shroud (x 2) Sun visors, windscreen pillar trim (SOLD), ash-tray, roof light unit.
£10 each

These are for collection only from GL19, 8 miles west of Gloucester.

Is that the bit in front of the passenger? If so, no I don't have these, or at least, I don't think I do.
I'll have a trawl through the barn and see if I can find anything!

Well that didn't take long...it was in the first box I looked in, along with some other Ph1 goodies!

Looks like I only have one of them though.

Hi Mark

Interested in the sun visors. Could you add a quick photo? Mainly the passenger one with the sticker attached, etc.

Many thanks

Andy

hello mark,
do you have the fog lights masks, or the toolbox ?. Thank you
Those item weren’t listed and MarkK no longer has Vee ownership. I think I was gifted the last bits of his parts collection - heat shields off a prototype Vee.

Ok, thanks.
Can you tell me where I can find them?

I’m going to guess that the OE fog light surrounds are not available. Even the surplus items have gone..

Front fogs are typically damage in a front impact collision and recovered spares are rare. There were a few sets of spares available in the UK thanks owners adopting replacements from a firm called Streamline Carbon who made carbon fibre copies. Unfortunately, they are no longer in business.

You’ve been signposted to somebody in Italy who makes copies.

A spare toolkit may belong to somebody who has bought a replacement. That’s is worth advertising in the Wanted section. Facebook has more followers, so worth asking there too.

ok, thank you for the help. can you tell me who I can contact for a front bumper splitter ?. Thank you
Maybe me… I’ve got a spare but I’m awaiting to see how my ‘new stance’ risks damaging the front lip.

Russosport is your best option as he can fabricate perfect replicas. He’s a busy bee and rarely can attend to fabrication requests however…

thanks for all the information. I have already tried to send a message to Russo, but he does not answer me .
He’s a good guy and has done some really nice GRP fabrications for the Vee community.
It was mostly done in his hobby time and I don’t think he currently gets much opportunity with other commitments taking precedence.

I predict that one day he’ll be building ‘continuation’ electric V6 Trophy race cars…

hi kett. do you know who can have 4 wheels 18 ph2? Thank you
You ideally need to place a advertisement in the ‘wanted’ section. A fellow member has just done that and is offering ‘top dollar’.

The problem is that people with ph2 spare sets are unlikely to sell until they part with their Ph2 car. Additionally, a good number of Ph2 spare wheels have found their way on to Ph1 cars.

There are simply are not many spare sets in circulation. I’ve got x2 fronts listed in for sale which need refurbishment. I need to check they are straight before shipping.
I’ve also got a x2 spare set of Ph1 wheels (needing refurbishment), if there is a Ph1 owner cashing in on their Ph2 wheels and wanting to return to OE.
