petrol light

Sent p.m. did you change the pump?
if so the reading you had should be different now as the sender is a different one, as soon as i get your pump back i can test it to put your mind at rest.
of course, it could be the gauge, but i think not.

I have left the light on the DCi and went by what the computer last read out said (circa 75miles) this didnt work in my favour so go by gauge. That was a nightmare that night!

Ok. New pump/sender in. What a mare that was. [smilie=icon_aaargh.gif]

I can confirm when the computer says 0 Litres there's quite a bit still in the tank. Petrol light is still not on. Going to drive around tomorrow (armed with 10 litres of v power) to see if it comes on.

Got down to '28 miles left' before dropping me arse - petrol light still not on. Put 30 litres in, showing 40.

I guess once it's down to 10 litres it shows zero.
