This month has a Renault Alpine club meet....

They had a MK1 V6 and a MK2 V6....

MK1 V6 0-60 = 6.7 which I though was quite poor until I read

MK2 V6 0-60 = 6.9 which is pathetic...

MK2 Quarter mile time was also slower....standard cars same conditions.

Wasn't the MK2 supposed to be quicker... [smilie=hide.gif]

Think the mk1 belongs to eastlmark and mk2 to Nev (v6ownersclub) IIRC???

It was Kev and I, a bit unfair really as we were not going for it in any way and it was damp to boot. We were basicly there for the lapping rather than the performance stuff, having said that I put in a better time than the month before when it was dry. Just had a new clutch and not interested in setting pointless 0-60 times. Kev did match mine but hit the reset button in an attempt to better it so it was never officially recorded.
That was back in November and the issue Tim is talking about is the March issue which came out in early Feb, well worth it for the story of the red Venturi most of you saw at Donington that was also at the test day.
