Part number for "door handles"

Can someone help me (hopefully James) with the part number for the "door handles" on the interior which have the electric window switches in them and the door mirror adjuster?

The reason being is that for some reason mine are very badly scratched and have gone sticky........ The car is garaged so its not a UV issue, unless its manifested from the past perhaps.

Hoping these are shared with other Renault models so that they might be available new from Renault.

Thanks

Martin

I know a lot of the door handles went "sticky". I replaced mine and the new pair are very similar. I will see if I can find the part number when I get home later.

Same as a 172 part.

They all go sticky yuk it something to do with the finishing stuff on em, it sucks, so instead of replacing I think i'll just have mine painted or dipped.

I cleaned up the “soft touch” layer gone sticky using kitchen bench cleaner (Ajax Spray & Wipe, not sure it is available in the UK.

Spray a good amount, let it soak to soften the sticky layer, spray some more whilst scrapping the layer off using a combination of plastic ruler and finger nails.

Did the same treatment to the dash panels too. Took the panels and dash top out of the car of course.

Once the sticky layer is gone, they look like OEM finish with a bit reduced shine.

Lovely, thanks for the replies.

Dont think these will clean up too well as they are fairly well "fingernailed" and "ring scratched". Apologies for the inverted commas and what not, but hard to describe them otherwise.

Just fit poverty spec 1.2 surrounds - they are also fitted to the 182 Trophies and 182 Cups - don't have the sticky finish and can be had for a tenner a pair.

Easy! Job done :)

Called my local dealer today. This part number is for both sides and is no longer available. If they were, would be £70

OLD topic, but I've seen mentioned a couple times about using "non-sport" handle parts, as they didn't have the soft-touch coating. Mine also (despite being garaged) have begun to go sticky.

Anyone know the part numbers for the interior door handles from non-sport models so I can look around for some?

I don’t think Clio 2 interior parts are generally available. There’s stuff on eBay but it’s difficult to know whether sport or non-sport through photographs. A lot of those parts are without number.
Try searching: interior switch cover, front interior door pull etc as it seems to be a part with no official name

Ah. Annoying as i was looking to replace mine too! Likewise there is a bit in the centre console which has gone sticky too.

Seems to be called "pull handle" most commonly, not to be confused with "grab handle" which is the thing you sometimes see in the roof lining.

Trying to find ones on eBay is a nightmare, the photography is never good enough to know if they're in good nick or not.
