Paint removal from grille plastics

PeteH

New Member
Before I pay the very high part cost to replace both rear grilles, would any one know if paint, which is only on the edges from old paint jobs can be removed effectively?
Thanks

Maybe Cellulose Thinners would do it, if not consider spraying the grilles matt black. Magpie V6 sprayed hers and they look nice and tidy.

Maybe as a last resort as they'll tarnish the plastics...
use it in moderation - rinse thoroughly with a bucket of water & and if you're not happy with the result, spray black.
(got to be better than paying for replacements).

Will give it all ago at the weekend, cheers
After seeing how fresh Shauns lunar was at Bromley, makes me think new is the only way..
