OS drive shaft gaiter

Any one know / have a robust alternative? Renault only supply the V6 inner boot as a complete set with shaft... which has major cost and supply-time implications.

Incidentally, when it 'let go' - it made a pop like driving over a milk/fruit juice carton and spat oil over the cats.

I think that looks like the outer (CV joint). I'm after the inner boot.

This happened on my 172 and that too should have been a new driveshaft. We ended up splitting the cv joint and fitting a boot that pretty much matched perfectly. Was just a case of tying it on and reversing the procedure. Dont what ever you do use a universal boot as they last the best part of 5 mins.

Glad you got sorted m8 , they are te same ends as on the traffic but just longer shafts on them
