Oil Leak, oil filler cap!! (mk1 v6)

Hello,

I've been for a good drive this weekend, 250mile round trip... Now when driving with the windows down I thought I could smell burning oil?!? but with the windows up I couldn't smell anything. Anyway, got to my destination and when I got out of the car I got another whiff.

I came back today and never smelt it until I stopped at a shop near home and when I got back in the car it was there again only quite strong this time... I drove it home only about 2 miles...

Upon removing the covers there was oil residue on top of the engine cover (plastic bit that says Reno sport v6 etc) I removed the cover and there were puddles of oil around the filler neck and in two of the coil pots, some had run down the side of the engine too. I noticed that the oil filler cap wasn't on properly, and tried to tighten it up but it doesn't seem to nip up properly and lock on.

After I had cleaned up all the oil I removed the seal on the cap and turned it upside down, the cap now seems to lock on tight. Has anyone had this problem before? And does anyone know the part number for a new cap?

Thanks Ashy.
