Thought it might be the crankshaft pulley seal but I'm not sure. Anything else in that area it could be? Looks to be higher up than the sump.

first is it engine oil or gearbox oil.

then pressure wash it and start looking for the leak....

doubt it'd be gearbox oil pon the driver side :?

i'd try and get the lower cam belt covers off to aid inspection

Yeah Its engine oil. Head has just been reconned at re fitted along with Timing belt and all new gaskets. Its since then that the leak has started so its obviously something thats been disturbed. I'll give it a blast and have a poke about

Definitely the driver side and below the head. Waiting for my Uncle and Aunt leave so I can pull my car onto the street and blast the bottom of it and investigate futher. A LOT of oil has come out:

Thats after only 2 days!

head bolts fully torqued?

take it back to where ytou had work done unless you diy fitted the head?

as i said then get the covers off, it could be the oil pump or the crank seal

Well I pressure washed it. Way I figure is it can't fubar it anymore. Gunna have to get it jacked up and the wheel off tohave a look but I don't know when! Hopefully try Wednesday night.

Looks like another bus pass for me for a while! EURGH! I'm fed up!!

if the garage has made ur car leak take it back and demard then do it again they havent done a good job otherwise it wouldnt be leaking.

Didn't get a garage to do it. My mate did it for me for practically nowt. He said there was silicon down where on the distributor side of the engine but the oil seems to be coming from the other side of the engine. Unless its running along the block somehow and dripping. It sucks I thought it was nearly all coming together!
